Artist Grace Mantle about her experience during the creation of this wonderful piece of art : “I was living in east Maui when I painted it, and during the time I was meditating and working on the image, the whales would appear in dramatic ways!

They literally jumped out of the ocean in front of me several times, slapping the water when the landed!  I could hear their sonar tones reflected off the cement wall behind me one of the times, as they were sending it out even above water!  What a blessed experience! This mandala is a portal to their energies, and also contains some sacred geometry to illustrate their role as keepers of the planet.”
